Whilst on an editorial shoot, I mentioned that I also photographed kids - the family happened to be in town, so we decided to go to Battersea park to create some portraits. I had lots of fun playing games with Frankie and her new Birthday 'Build-A-Bear' Rainbow to capture her fun side ♥︎
I took the kids to visit a good friend of mine in London last week and I couldn't resist photographing her beautiful girls Elvie & Wallis - who love the camera and coming up with creative ideas!
What an amazing location for a shoot! Thanks to Emma who found this beautiful flower field on the Wyke Manor Estate Farm in Worcestershire - we had a great time amongst the flowers playing hide and seek ; )
This is the third shoot I've had with Emily, she's such a natural in front of the camera and a happy creative collaborator ; )
It was such a pleasure and a privilege to be able to work with Emily in capturing her beautiful bump and her brand new adorable Beni! You can see more images in my 'Bump to Newborn' section.
I met Emily during our yoga shoot, she wanted to work with me afterwards to capture some bump shots on location. We met one Sunday afternoon in Standish woods in Stroud to photograph her amongst the bluebells. Emily came prepared with a few outfits and I adore her 'bluebell' coloured top which shows off her beautiful bump! She did very well seeing that she was overdue (still waiting for baby to make an appearance!).
For our second location we headed to Haresfiled Beacon - what amazing views! I had to capture Emily with the view as well as creating that classic silhouette bump image.
I am currently working on a really lovely project with Gillian Merrett Holmes who teaches Antenatal, Yoga for Pregnancy & Mother and Baby Yoga at NCT in Stroud. We are working with these lovely pregnant ladies, I photographed them a couple of weeks ago at Stroud Yoga Space. Next shoot will involve the new babies!
I'm back to work after my maternity leave with my daughter Fjóla. My first bump shoot was with Emily a few weeks ago in her lovely cottage in the Cotswolds, I also photographed the family with the bump. Below are some of the shots; I really love the one of Noah and his smiley face that he drew on Emily's bump : ) So much fun to collaborate with the kids on the shoots!
